Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Area Experience Leader to oversee 4–6 offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience and strong performance across locations. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set expectations, and balance visible leadership with hands-on management.

The role focuses on optimizing staff readiness, operational execution, and client outcomes while driving revenue and business results across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading multi-unit teams in retail/service/operations.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative service delivery.
• Proven ability to drive business and financial results.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently between offices.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Coach based on observed behaviors, client interactions, and performance outcomes.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational results across assigned offices.
• Monitor metrics, identify trends, and implement actions to improve results.
