Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Area Experience Leader to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You will lead and develop Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, coaching teams to anticipate client needs and deliver expert guidance with a welcoming, confident experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail, service, or operations with performance accountability.
• Proven ability to deliver consultative client experience and coach teams.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4-6 offices, ensuring standards are met.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations using insights to improve results.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with visible leadership in-office.
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals to drive performance and accountability.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors, client interactions, and performance outcomes.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and talent across locations.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across assigned offices.
• Monitor metrics, identify trends, and drive actions to improve business results, client acquisition, and retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing, scheduling, labor management, compliance and SOPs.
• Oversee office readiness including facilities, equipment, supplies, recruiting, onboarding, and seasonal preparation.
