Job summary

H&R Block seeks an Area Experience Leader to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 offices, guiding Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals to deliver a consultative, client-centric experience with disciplined execution.

This hands-on leader will balance strategic oversight with in-office presence, align priorities, and drive revenue, growth, and operational performance across locations while ensuring readiness and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years work experience leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations environment with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
• Ability to travel frequently between assigned offices to maintain presence across locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 assigned offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals by setting clear expectations and coaching for performance.
• Own office readiness and day-to-day operations across offices, including staffing and compliance.
• Monitor performance metrics and identify trends to improve business results and client retention.
• Oversee scheduling, labor management, and adherence to SOPs across locations.
