Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience and operational excellence across locations.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set expectations, monitor performance, and drive revenue and client growth while maintaining a strong in-office leadership presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit retail/service/operations environment with outcomes accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset with proven consultative experience.
• Proven leadership ability to coach and develop teams and drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to improve experience.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations and accountability.
• Provide coaching based on observations, feedback, and performance outcomes.
• Identify patterns across offices and address performance gaps; develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and act to improve business results and client retention.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, facilities, and compliance across offices.
• Oversee office readiness, facilities, and equipment for seasonal demand.
