Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high‑quality client experience. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set expectations, and balance strategic oversight with hands‑on leadership across locations.

You’ll own office readiness, staffing, facilities, compliance, and day‑to‑day operations to drive client outcomes and business performance. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit environment with accountability for performance.
• Strong client-centric mindset and experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Proven leadership able to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business/financial results while managing day-to-day operations across locations (labor, facilities, compliance).
• Experience leading through change and adoption of new processes.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and prioritize across locations.
• Experience managing facilities, staffing, or compliance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, including handling client escalations.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into action.
• Ability to travel frequently and work a schedule across locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead and coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and performance outcomes.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing and compliance.
• Prepare offices for seasonal demand and maintain readiness.
