Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to oversee 4–6 retail offices and deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations.

This hands-on, visible leader will set expectations for consultative service, operations, team performance, and business results. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balance strategic oversight with in-office presence, and drive readiness, staffing, compliance, and day-to-day operations across offices to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of experience leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Proven leadership to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results while managing day-to-day operations across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices with disciplined execution.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to reinforce strengths and address gaps.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations and accountability.
• Coach team members based on observed behaviors and performance outcomes to strengthen execution.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and high-potential talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve business results, client acquisition, and retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing, scheduling, labor management, compliance, SOPs, and service delivery.
• Oversee office readiness including facilities, equipment, supplies, recruiting, onboarding, and seasonal preparation.
