Job summary

PSIA‑AASI Central Region is seeking an Executive Director to lead day-to-day operations, translate Board strategy into action, and elevate snowsports instruction across the Central Region. This hands-on, relationship-centered role requires a thoughtful, collaborative leader who can steward a small staff and guide education and certification programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in operations or association leadership.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building across diverse stakeholders.
• Track record of delegation, empowerment, and team capacity-building.
• Strong operational discipline with proven ability to meet commitments.
• Hands-on financial management, including budgets and cash flow.
• Working knowledge of snowsports industry and PSIA‑AASI certification structure, or ability to learn quickly.
• Understanding of nonprofit governance in a small-team setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership aligned with the Board’s direction.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including education and certification delivery.
• Lead staff and education leadership team.
• Manage budgets, cash flow, and nonprofit compliance.
• Engage with members, member schools, staff, and national PSIA‑AASI.
• Advocate for regional interests within the national community.
• Support governance within a Policy Governance framework.
