Job summary

PSIA/AASI Western Region seeks a seasoned Snowsports leader to direct the Ski & Ride School in Pinecrest, CA. This role emphasizes program growth, staff development, and delivering memorable guest experiences, with potential for broader leadership within the organization.

The Director oversees teaching programs, recruits and trains staff, manages budgets, and implements risk management plans while maintaining safety and quality standards for guests and team.

Qualifications

• Energetic and enthusiastic about the sport of skiing, snowboard, and coaching.
• Has working knowledge of snowsports school management and related operational activities.
• Demonstrated leadership in supervising teams and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead Ski & Ride School, Adult and Children’s programs, Teams programs, teaching areas, seasonal programs, and training programs.
• Delegate responsibility, motivate and lead direct reports to achieve goals and objectives.
• Oversee inventory and maintenance of equipment and uniforms to maintain resort standards.
• Promote safety and implement Your Safety Responsibility Code across staff and guests.
