Job summary

Region 4 Education Service Center in Houston seeks a Regional Coordinator – Evaluation Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP). This full-time admin/professional role reports to the Assistant Director and focuses on professional development, evaluation services, and project activities in Student Evaluation.

Requires a master's in psychoeducational or related field, licensure as LSSP or Educational Diagnostician, five years district-wide experience, and strong data-driven program

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychoeducational or psychological related field.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or SBEC Educational Diagnostician licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop professional development and related services for students evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and SBOE rules.
• Plan and implement programs for diverse student populations.
• Develop needs assessment systems for Region 4 services.
• Develop communication networks between ESC and client personnel.
• Evaluate department activities and provide leadership.
• Plan and develop grant proposals and interagency projects.
• Facilitate interagency coordination.
• Provide technical assistance funded by applicable federal grants.
