Job summary

REGION 4 ESC Education Service Center in Houston is seeking a Regional Coordinator – Evaluation Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP). This full-time role reports to the Assistant Director and focuses on professional development, evaluation services, and program leadership for student evaluation initiatives across the district.

The ideal candidate will hold a TSBEP LSSP or SBEC Educational Diagnostician license, have at least five years of district-wide experience in student

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree in psychoeducational or psychology-related field required.
• LSSP or SBEC Educational Diagnostician licensure required.
• Five years district-wide experience in Student Evaluation.
• Experience in developing and presenting professional development.
• Experience leading collaborative multidisciplinary teams.
• Exemplary written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate and provides team leadership in developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating related services professional development, products, and services for clients.
• Provide assistance in activities related to compliance with state and federal laws and State Board of Education rules and regulations.
• Participate in developing, planning, and implementing programs to meet the needs of diverse populations of students.
• Help plan and implement ongoing needs assessment systems for client programs and Region 4 services.
• Participate in developing communication networks between the service center and client personnel.
• Help monitor the effectiveness of department activities in the region and provides leadership in evaluating those activities.
• Assist in planning and developing special project activities, i.e. grant proposals, interdepartmental services, demonstration sites, research studies, and other client-based projects.
• Assist in facilitating interagency coordination.
