Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Director, Associate General Counsel, Regional Compliance to lead the regional ethics and compliance program across EMEA, APJC and LATAM.

You will advise executive leadership on regulatory risks, design scalable processes, and drive improvements with data analytics. This role requires a JD and 12+ years in ethics and compliance, with a proven ability to partner across a global, matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent law degree and 12+ years in Ethics & Compliance.
• Experience within technology, telecommunications, or multinational corporate environments.
• Deep leadership in regulator, external stakeholder, industry, and customer conversations.
• Proven ability to motivate, empower, and develop teams to achieve results.
• Proficiency using technology and AI to streamline processes in compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cisco’s Regional Ethics & Compliance programs and strategies across global regions.
• Advise senior executives on compliance risks and regulatory developments.
• Drive data-driven insights to measure program effectiveness and identify trends.
• Manage a regional compliance team and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• Develop scalable due diligence and risk mitigation processes.
• Navigate complex organizational dynamics to align disparate teams toward objectives.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen due diligence programs and processes.
