• Equivalent combination of education and experience in environmental protection with supervisory exposure.

Responsibilities

• Direct regional waste management activities and coordinate major program components.
• Guide Section Chiefs, set clear expectations, and support staff with regular communication.
• Prioritize enforcement actions and coordinate with legal and investigative partners.
• Review, monitor, and support municipal planning and resource recovery grants.
• Establish permitting priorities and manage the regional permitting workload.
• Determine staffing needs, assign workloads, and coordinate emergency response participation.
