Job summary

EnviroServe is seeking a Regional Waste Compliance Manager to lead environmental compliance across multiple sites within the region. You will oversee waste programs, audits, training, and engagement with local authorities to ensure safe and sustainable waste practices.

The role requires 5+ years in waste management or environmental compliance, strong regulatory knowledge, and leadership skills to drive continuous improvement and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Science (Environmental Science/Chemistry/Biology) or 4+ years related experience.
• Minimum 5+ years in waste management or environmental compliance.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with hazardous waste, lab packing, manifests.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal waste management regulations.
• ISO 14001 or Hazardous Waste certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all waste activities comply with environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards (local, state, federal).
• Develop and implement waste management programs prioritizing sustainability, efficiency, and legal compliance.
• Oversee segregation, disposal, recycling, and reduction initiatives across the region.
• Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure adherence to waste management standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit audit reports, identifying risks and areas for improvement.
• Provide training to staff and stakeholders on waste management practices, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead investigations into incidents of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Complete and ensure reporting of waste data and regulatory submissions to authorities.
