Job summary

Seneca Global Services, LLC is seeking a full-time Regional Environmental Coordination Support Specialist to assist the Army REC program for ODASA(ESOH). The role tracks federal/state environmental actions and converts developments into briefings and materials for leadership, REC meetings, and state partners.

Responsibilities include monitoring Federal Register actions, drafting fact sheets and memos, maintaining a regulatory tracker, and coordinating with Army SMEs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, policy, or related field; master's preferred.
  • 7–10 years of environmental regulatory analysis or DoD program support.
  • Working knowledge of CAA, CWA, RCRA, TSCA and related programs.
  • Experience turning regulatory analysis into briefings, trackers, or correspondence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain regulatory issues to non-specialists and leaders.
  • Strong stakeholder coordination and Excel/Office suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the Federal Register, state sites, and research platforms for environmental actions affecting the Army.
  • Identify proposed and enacted legislation/regulations impacting related programs.
  • Work with Army SMEs to assess impacts on operations and compliance.
  • Analyze regulatory trends and prepare data-informed recommendations and briefings.
  • Maintain a legislative/regulatory tracker or dashboard with deadlines and equities.
  • Draft fact sheets, letters, memoranda, and other official correspondence.
  • Support entries in the Environmental Assessment and Reporting module or successor tools.
  • Prepare materials for DoW REC meetings and state partnering meetings.
  • Serve as liaison across Army staff, commands, REC counterparts, and external stakeholders.
  • Review products for accuracy, consistency, and Army quality standards.
