HDR is hiring a North Central Region Environmental Sciences and Planning Leader to provide leadership and direction for environmental services across the North Central U.S. The role involves guiding strategy, staff development, and cross-market collaboration with HDR’s regional offices and leaders, with periodic travel across the region.

The successful candidate will lead with a focus on delivery excellence, quality standards, and alignment to HDR values, supporting growth and client service

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, operational, and people leadership for the Environmental Planning Business Class across HDR regions.
• Align with Operations, Business Group and Cross-Sector strategies while driving collaboration and delivery excellence.
• Lead regional strategic planning, budgeting and annual alignment efforts.
• Coordinate staffing, workshare, utilization, and capacity planning across Areas.
• Support training, credentialing, career pathways, and performance conversations.
• Develop future leaders while fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.
