Job summary

Foth is seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial Lead Environmental Scientist/Engineer to grow our environmental compliance presence in the Southeast United States. This role will serve as a key leader in expanding our regional footprint while delivering high-quality technical services to industrial clients.

Preferred locations include Jacksonville, FL; Memphis, TN; Cullman, AL; or Columbia, SC, with openness to remote candidates in GA, LA, AL, MS, NC, SC, TN, or FL.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of environmental consulting experience with industrial clients.
Demonstrated success in client relationship management.
Experience leading complex projects and cross-functional teams.
Prior experience with environmental regulations.
Proven ability to operate independently and build a market presence.

Responsibilities

Expand environmental compliance services in the Southeast U.S.
Lead multi-disciplinary environmental projects from initiation to completion.
Mentor staff and grow a regional team.
Develop proposals, scopes of work, and pricing strategies.
Represent Foth at industry events and regional associations.
Manage key accounts and client advisory roles.
Navigate state-specific regulatory nuances.
