Job summary

Foth is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to support and expand our Civil Engineering practice across the Southeast region, with strong preference for Jacksonville, FL. This role serves as a technical leader on multi-disciplinary marine infrastructure modernization projects in the United States, expanding Foth’s market presence in Florida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure in applicable states.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively increasing responsibility in heavy civil engineering, infrastructure planning, design, and project delivery.
• Experience developing and overseeing engineering deliverables including studies, reports, plans, specifications, and construction packages.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead and senior civil engineering advisor for infrastructure modernization projects across industrial, marine, waterfront, transportation, utility, and site development infrastructure.
• Lead facility planning, infrastructure assessments, site investigations, alternatives evaluations, and engineering studies.
• Perform technical engineering design for underground utilities, including sanitary and storm conveyance, and water distribution systems.
• Provide QA/QC and engineering project activities focused on wastewater conveyance and sewer system design and permitting.
• Provide technical oversight across civil, structural, marine, environmental, mechanical, electrical, and planning disciplines.
