Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting represents a growing environmental engineering firm seeking an Environmental Design Engineer / Project Manager in the New York metropolitan area. You will lead hydraulic design efforts, coordinate with municipalities and utilities, and manage project scope, schedule, and budgets.

The role requires a PE license, a civil/environmental engineering degree, and 8+ years of relevant experience. Hybrid work and local travel to project sites are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires PE license (NY/NJ area preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience for PM track in water resources or civil infra.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead on water resources projects from initiation to completion.
• Lead hydraulic design calculations and preparation of deliverables for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure.
• Develop and interpret hydraulic models using InfoWater, SWMM/PCSWMM, and HEC-RAS.
