Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Regional Environmental Manager, EAP, to lead a field team ensuring regulatory compliance across sites in the region. You will translate compliance plans into regional execution, set priorities, and hold partners accountable to milestones while developing your team and embedding compliance into daily operations.

The role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and the ability to manage multiple locations with stakeholders across Legal, Finance, and Technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or related field required.
• Experience building and managing a high-performing team across locations and languages.
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data to drive process improvements.
• Experience developing and implementing environmental compliance programs.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Strong communication with site leaders, operations partners, and legal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive environmental regulatory compliance across sites in your region.
• Translate programs into regional execution and allocate resources.
• Oversee budgeting and input to annual operating plans.
• Operate program controllership mechanisms to drive speed, quality, and accountability.
• Communicate compliance status and risks to senior leaders and partners.
• Collaborate with Legal, regulators, and tech teams to resolve barriers.
• Track region KPIs and report regulatory posture across sites.
• Lead talent management including hiring and development.
• Oversee third-party contractors and audits for governance.
• Exercise independent judgment in a dynamic regulatory environment.
• Embed environmental compliance into day-to-day site operations.
• Travel up to 25–50%.
