Job summary

Linde Inc. is seeking a Regional Environmental Specialist to oversee environmental compliance programs across California and surrounding states, with focus in Phoenix, AZ.

You will lead air, water, and waste regulatory initiatives and liaise with regulators to ensure permits and reporting are aligned with corporate standards. Ideal candidates hold an Environmental Science degree, have 5+ years in environmental areas such as air and waste, and can travel ~40% for site assessments and enforcement

Qualifications

• Environmental science degree or related field required.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain environmental compliance programs across facilities.
• Monitor environmental performance and provide leadership, training, and guidance.
• Prepare permit applications and amendments including Title V and NSR.
• Interface with state and federal agencies on permits and inspections.
• Support Emission Cap and Trade programs and improve compliance across regions.
• Maintain compliance records and contribute to corporate assessments.
• Review legislation to determine applicability to the business.
