Job summary

Linde Inc. in Wilmington, CA seeks a Regional Environmental Specialist to support environmental compliance across California and neighboring states.

You will develop and maintain programs, train staff, and provide technical guidance on air, water and waste regulations, including Title V, NSR and RMP compliance. The position requires 5+ years of environmental experience in refinery/chemical settings, plus strong regulatory knowledge, interpersonal skills and the ability to travel ~40%.

Qualifications

• Environmental Science degree or related field.
• 5+ years of environmental experience in air, water, and waste.
• Experience in refinery, chemical, or petrochemical environments.
• Regulatory knowledge including Title V/NSR, GHG, NSPS, NPDES.
• Proficient with MS Office and P&ID diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Report to the LGUS Associate Director and support facilities in CA and surrounding states.
• Implement and maintain environmental compliance programs and management systems.
• Prepare and support permit applications and exemptions (Title V, minor source, PSD, NSR).
• Interface with state and federal regulatory agencies on permits, inspections, and enforcement.
