Job summary

Partner Company, based in the United States, is seeking an Environmental Specialist to provide environmental expertise and compliance support across multiple manufacturing sites in the region. You will evaluate regulations, lead audits, manage air permitting, hazardous waste, wastewater, and spill prevention, and help design practical, risk-based solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, EHS, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive environmental compliance experience.
• Experience with air permitting, hazardous waste, wastewater and environmental reporting.
• Ability to interpret regulations and develop risk-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental expertise and compliance support to manufacturing sites across the assigned region.
• Evaluate compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, permits, internal standards, and other requirements.
• Lead or support environmental audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance on air permitting and emissions compliance.
• Verify permits, registrations, and authorizations reflect site operations.
• Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste programs.
• Support wastewater and stormwater compliance programs.
• Investigate environmental incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
