Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Engineering Services Area Sales Manager - West Region to oversee sales operations across multiple West-region sites including Phoenix, San Diego, and Pleasanton. The role leads a sales team and distributor channel, implementing strategies to drive growth and market share.

You will conduct market research, forecast sales, and report to senior leadership on progress, trends, and opportunities, with travel up to 35% as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum seven (7) years of electrical industry sales/marketing/operations experience.
• Minimum one (1) year of Managerial experience.
• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Ability to travel 35% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage a customer base, sales resources, products and channels to market to achieve planned results for the region.
• Provide leadership and development to a sales team consisting of sales professionals, sales reps and the distributor channel.
• Develop and implement sales strategies across the regional team and lead national strategy development for growth segments.
• Conduct market research, identify market trends, assess competitor activity to inform product positioning and pricing.
• Prepare and present sales forecasts and reports to senior leadership highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
