Job summary

ProLift Rigging is seeking a Regional Engineering Manager to oversee engineering capability across the region, develop engineers, and partner with branch leaders to ensure quality and safety in lift plans and drawings. This role manages engineering risk, applies proven methods, and aligns with company standards.

The position reports to the VP of Technical Services and supports field teams, with emphasis on collaboration with Branch Managers and Hub Managers to build regional engineering strength.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of progressively responsible experience in crane operations, rigging, lift planning, crane maintenance, or crane fleet management.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA crane and rigging requirements, manufacturer guidance, load-chart application, lift-planning practices.

Responsibilities

• Branch engineers report directly to their Branch Manager; this role supplies the technical judgment behind those decisions.
• Approve the capability assessment behind branch engineer levels (I, II, Senior).
• Build a pipeline of engineering talent across the region through onboarding, mentorship, and internship support.
• Coach and mentor engineers in the region on technical work, customer interaction, and field judgment.
