Job summary

The Ductile Iron Pipe Research Association (DIPRA) is seeking a Regional Engineer for the Western Region to promote proper application of ductile iron pipe and build technical relationships with utilities and engineers.

The role requires a PE license or EIT with PE plan, a civil/mechanical engineering background, and the ability to travel 50% in SD, ND, NE, KS, WY, NV, CO, UT, ID, WA, OR, MT, or Northern California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a four-year college or university (Civil or Mechanical preferred).
• PE license or EIT with plan to obtain PE within two years.
• Willingness to travel >50% in the Western region.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to VP – Technical Resources; establish and maintain relationships with engineers and utilities.
• Assist in implementing technical programs to influence municipal specifications.
• Assist in development and management of the Regional Engineer Program budget.
• Travel across Western region and manage own schedule.
