Job summary
Jumia in Nigeria is recruiting a First Mile & Last Mile Regional Manager to lead pickup and delivery operations across Lagos, Oshogbo, Owerri/Asaba, ensuring on-time service and efficiency. You will supervise a team of operators, plan routes, coach staff, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with Warehouse Operations, Procurement, and Customer Service to maintain compliance and high performance.
Requires a Bachelor's in Logistics or related field, 5+ years in logistics, and 2 years in a leadership role,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation or related field.
- 5+ years in logistics operations with 2 years in leadership.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise First Mile & Last Mile Operators to ensure timely delivery.
- Assign daily tasks and routes based on workload and priorities.
- Provide training and support to enhance skills and performance.
- Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions to meet targets.
- Coordinate with Warehouse Operations, Procurement and Customer Service.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain records of activities, maintenance and driver performance.
