Job summary

Jumia, a leading pan-African e-commerce platform, seeks a Network Manager to oversee Sorting Center, Reverse Logistics and Transport within its Supply Chain. Reporting to the Head of Logistics, this role manages stock movements, optimizes outbound transport costs, tracks queues, and leads logistics teams to ensure efficient parcel dispatch and end-to-end SLA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in logistics, manufacturing, production, or distribution.
• Proven ability to manage large and remote operational teams and strong project management skills.
• High analytical ability with proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Structured, methodical, and results-oriented mindset with adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Multi-Unit Operational Oversight across Sorting Center, Reverse Logistics, and Transport to improve delivery timelines.
• Network and Queue Management: track backlogs, monitor quality, coordinate capacity with dispatch agents and 3PL partners.
• Cost and Route Optimization: reduce transport costs per package shipped.
• Lead and train Sorting Center and Transportation Managers; oversee teams and site security monitoring.
• Implement process improvements, roll out scalable operations, and build dashboards for KPIs.
• Conduct field activities and travel to logistics nodes; collaborate with HSE, Security, Facilities and external partners.
