Job summary

Mercy EMS seeks a Regional EMS Manager to oversee daily operations for multiple EMS facilities in the region. Responsibilities include supervising staff, scheduling, evaluating performance, and ensuring vehicle and equipment maintenance in alignment with Mercy policies.

The role requires Paramedic licensure and at least five years in EMS, with two years in supervision, plus strong leadership and patient care skills in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in health care administration, public administration, management, nursing, emergency medical or disaster preparedness.
• Paramedic license in practice state(s) and valid driver's license.
• Minimum 5 years EMS experience with at least 2 years as EMS supervisor.
• Paramedic license required for current practice states.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities and operations of multiple EMS facilities in a regional area.
• Supervise co-workers, schedule staff, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Maintain vehicles and EMS equipment; manage supply inventory and financials.
• Provide direct patient care per Mercy EMS protocols and policies.
