Job summary

Form Energy is seeking an experienced Senior Employee Relations leader to define and run ER as a new function. Reporting to the SVP, People, you will handle a large, complex caseload, build processes from scratch, and advise senior leaders on risk and precedent while scaling the program across multiple sites.

The role blends strategic program-building with hands-on investigations, coaching managers, and developing compliant policies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive Employee Relations experience.
• Experience building or scaling an ER function, program, or infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of federal and state employment law, investigation methodology, and documentation standards.
• Strong judgment and discretion in handling sensitive, high-stakes situations.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills with senior leaders and employees.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a complex ER caseload spanning harassment, discrimination, misconduct, performance disputes, and interpersonal conflict.
• Design and stand up Form Energy's ER function from the ground up with processes, tooling, and standards.
• Advise senior leaders on ER strategy, risk, and precedent and translate trends into recommendations.
• Coach managers to address ER issues early and provide clear guidance on escalation.
• Develop and maintain HR policies ensuring fair, consistent application and legal compliance.
• Build reporting to track case trends, cycle times, and outcomes for leadership.
• Collaborate with Legal, People Partners, EHS, and COEs to embed ER guidance.
