The position requires a bachelor's degree and two years of emergency management experience, strong written and oral communication, and familiarity with Palmetto emergency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in emergency management or related field.
• Two years of emergency management experience at local, state, or federal levels.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of NIMS and ICS principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, execution, and evaluation of REP training and exercises.
• Provide technical assistance to county EM personnel for plan enhancement, training, and exercises.
• Assist counties during actual emergencies and relay information to the appropriate managers.
