Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Department of Homeland Security, seeks a Supervisory Emergency Management Specialist (Response) to lead an Emergency Management team within Region 3. The role includes directing day-to-day operations, overseeing budget development, and driving program improvements in disaster response.

Responsibilities include supervising administrative staff, coordinating with leadership, and supporting FEMA Region 3 programs and projects.

Mansioni

Coordinating the development of the division’s budget and work plans.
Coordinating with Divisional leadership to evaluate complex Response operations and activities to find efficiencies and recommend improvements.
Providing 1st line supervision and performance management to administrative staff to include giving advice, counsel, and instruction on emergency management work and administrative matters.
Providing general support to FEMA Region 3 programs and projects as assigned.
All positions are subject to recall around the clock for emergency management operations, may require irregular work hours and relocation to emergency sites.
