Job summary

Elevated Facility Services is seeking a Regional Technical Training and Development Manager, Southeast, to design, implement, and manage comprehensive training programs for field technicians in the Southeast region. You will ensure technicians meet safety standards and certification requirements for elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation systems.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certifications preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years in elevator/vertical transportation with hands-on field ops.
• Skills: Strong elevator system knowledge, excellent communication, OSHA familiarity, ability to develop training materials.
• Other: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel; OSHA 500s certification.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop training programs focused on technical skills, safety, and industry standards.
• Lead CET certification process for technicians.
• Oversee apprenticeship program and mentor apprentices.
• Prepare technicians for mechanic licensing requirements.
• Update training materials as technologies evolve.
• Conduct hands-on and classroom training for new hires and existing technicians.
• Provide refresher courses to reinforce safety practices.
• Organize on-the-job training sessions.
• Evaluate technician performance and develop improvement plans.
• Track and report training outcomes to management.
• Promote safety culture and compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with branch managers to identify training needs.
• Serve as SME in field operations and answer technical questions.
• Travel regularly within region to provide on-site training.
