Job summary

Elevated Facility Services is seeking a skilled Elevator Technician to perform complex maintenance, servicing, repair and troubleshooting of elevators and related equipment. This role requires hands-on work in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and on-site problem resolution.

You will conduct preventive maintenance, inspections and annual safety tests, and assist in evaluating equipment upgrades. A valid Elevator Technician license and physical ability for challenging work conditions

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Elevator Technician or Elevator Mechanic License is required.
• Ability to operate hand and electrical tools such as grinders, drill motors and coring machines.
• Knowledge of electrical reading/testing gear, hoists and rigging is essential.

Responsibilities

• Investigates electric, mechanical, and hydraulic elevator issues and performs repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure safe operation and OSHA compliance.
• Conducts annual tests of safety devices and evaluates equipment for upgrades or modifications.
• Works on-site in elevated and confined spaces, following safety standards.
