Alcoa Corporation is seeking a Regional Electrical Project Engineering Specialist to shape capital projects across multiple operations with expertise in electrical systems, instrumentation, automation, and controls. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable solutions that align with safety, environmental, and cost requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent recognized engineering discipline.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, automation, industrial controls, capital projects, maintenance, or reliability.
• Experience supporting capital project development and execution in multidisciplinary environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, automation technologies, and control architectures.
• Ability to review and validate technical drawings, specifications, and documentation with stakeholders.
• Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Define electrical requirements, control interfaces, and deliverables with project managers across all phases.
• Prepare and validate drawings, specifications, bid packages, equipment lists, and engineering documentation.
• Coordinate activities with engineering firms, systems integrators, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to feasibility studies, estimates, schedules, and technical recommendations.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and commissioning efforts.
• Identify technical challenges and support continuous improvement of engineering standards.
