Job summary

Quaker Houghton is seeking an EHS Specialist to lead environmental, health and safety initiatives across the assigned geographic region. The role collaborates with Operations, Fluidcare and Commercial leadership to drive a culture of EHS excellence and ensure effective execution of EHS strategy.

Responsibilities include developing regional EHS plans, implementing safety systems, coordinating training, and supervising EHS consultants to improve performance while maintaining regulatory compliance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent; preference for Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemistry or related field.
Minimum 5 years in environmental, health and safety disciplines with focus on safety.

Responsibilities

Lead regional EHS plans and implement safety systems, policies and procedures.
Drive a world-class employee safety culture with campaigns and initiatives.
Implement enterprise EHS software and track/regress EHS performance metrics and trends.
Ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate incident investigations and corrective actions.
