Job summary

Cox Automotive in the United States is seeking a Regional Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to implement our EHS processes and foster a culture of caring across the region. The role collaborates with site leadership, office and field personnel to drive safety and environmental programs.

You will lead development of safety management systems, safety training, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives while aligning with company standards and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years of experience in a related field.
• Master’s degree and 4 years of experience is also acceptable; PhD with 1 year is possible.
• 8+ years of related experience may qualify for alternative combinations.

Responsibilities

• Drive the operational implementation of EHS programs and build a proactive safety culture.
• Collaborate with CAI Safety Teams on leading and lagging indicators; participate in incident investigations.
• Coordinate with Lean Daily Management to align safety metrics with Cox Automotive culture.
• Establish timelines and close corrective actions from inspections and reviews.
• Support standardized environmental practices in line with company standards and regulations.
• Help develop and implement site safety and environmental policies and improvement plans.
• Assist with training development and delivery for site personnel.
