Job summary

GFL Environmental seeks a Regional EHS Manager to champion safety across multiple facilities, acting as the North Star for safety and environmental stewardship. You will lead audits, investigations, and regulatory compliance while developing high-impact training programs.

The role requires 5–7+ years in EHS, BS in Environmental Eng/OH&S, and CSP/CHMM/ASP certifications. Expect up to 70% travel, and a collaborative, growth-focused culture at GFL.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in EHS within industrial/logistics sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
• CSP/CHMM/ASP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the regional EHS lead for multiple facilities and drive a safety-first culture.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk identification to prevent incidents.
• Lead incident investigations (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
• Stay ahead of OSHA, EPA, DOT and local regulations to ensure exemplary compliance.
• Develop and deliver engaging, high-impact safety training programs.
