Job summary

Ocean Spray is seeking a Regional EHS Specialist to ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance at receiving plants. You will implement policies, train staff, and minimize risk while maintaining regulatory standards.

You will perform inspections, lead safety improvements, and investigate incidents in partnership with Ag Operations. This is a year‑round role with harvest season intensification and 24/7 coverage during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or technical schooling in environmental, occupational safety, or related area (preferred).
• Experience as a trainer and in safety program implementation.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and regulations.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams in a farm/plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations at receiving plants.
• Develop and deliver environmental and safety training, in person and electronically.
• Conduct regular inspections/audits; identify hazards and corrective actions.
• Assist Ag Operations with EHS program improvements and incident investigations.
• Support emergency response efforts and safety committee activities.
• Oversee safety equipment upkeep and weekly toolbox talks.
• Collaborate with supervisors to coach safe work practices.
