Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Nurse Educator to lead educational design, planning, implementation and evaluation for Patient Care and Clinical Ancillary Services. The role focuses on professional development and teaching/learning across Prime Healthcare facilities.

The position requires a Master’s preparation in nursing and/or education, 5+ years acute care and 2+ years educational experience, plus travel to facilities as needed. Per Diem with variable shift is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of 5 years acute care experience.
• Minimum of 2 years previous educational experience
• Requires Master’s preparation in nursing and/or education, or comparable graduate education.
• Must be able to travel to a variety of Prime Healthcare facilities on an as needed basis

Responsibilities

• Lead in educational design, planning, implementation and evaluation for Patient Care and Clinical Ancillary Services.
• Focus on professional development and teaching/learning within the domain.
• Provide leadership and direction for nursing education programs and initiatives.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $55.50. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
