Job summary

Saint Clare’s Health seeks a Regional Education Specialist (Critical Care) for per diem, varied shifts. You will lead educational design, planning, implementation and evaluation for Patient Care and Clinical Ancillary Services.

You will travel to Prime Healthcare facilities as needed to support professional development and teaching/learning initiatives, requiring clinical nursing expertise and a master’s level background. Must hold RN license, BLS, and a master’s/education background.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN with current state license.
• Master’s preparation in nursing and/or education or comparable graduate education.
• Minimum 5 years acute care experience; 2 years educational experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead educational design, planning, implementation and evaluation for Patient Care and Clinical Ancillary Services.

Regional Education Specialist (Critical Care) – PER DIEM – Varied Shifts

This position is accountable for assuming leadership in the area of educational design, planning, implementation and evaluation for Patient Care and Clinical Ancillary Services. As such, position responsibilities focus on accomplishing goals within the domain of professional development and teaching/learning.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Must have a current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of 5 years acute care experience.
• Minimum of 2 years previous educational experience.
• Requires Master’s preparation in nursing and/or education, or comparable graduate education.
• Must be able to travel to a variety of Prime Healthcare facilities on an as needed basis
