Job summary

State of Tennessee seeks a Regional Data Analyst in the Department of Education to support districts within the Southeast region. This field-based role requires travel to school districts and periodic in-office days, with responsibilities to provide strategic data analysis and decision-making support for student outcomes.

You will diagnose challenges with district leaders and CORE consultants, develop improvement plans, monitor progress, and help build resources to strengthen instruction,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4 years in teaching/education administration or education consulting.
• Graduate coursework may substitute for up to two years of experience.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships with district leaders and TDOE leads.
• Facilitate root cause analysis to identify instructional gaps and goals.
• Lead planning conversations to determine improvement strategies.
• Provide differentiated support for district plans and data use.
• Set benchmark indicators and monitor progress of improvements.
• Collaborate with CORE team to coordinate district support.
