Job summary

Wake County Public School System in Cary, NC, is seeking a Coordinating Teacher-Regional Achievement and School Support to drive district-wide curriculum implementation and data-informed decisions. You will support and coordinate school staff, design professional development, and monitor progress toward regional goals.

You will lead MTSS and PLC initiatives, analyze student achievement data, and partner with central services to improve instruction, climate, and culture across assigned regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an accredited program in elementary or secondary education.
• Experience designing and delivering professional development using multiple modalities.
• Demonstrated successful teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in data analysis of district and school level academic data.
• Coordinates programmatic recommendations based on data analysis.
• Delivers support for schools based on outcome and implementation data.
• Observes goals for improvement of system-wide instruction.
• Coordinates skill development of School Support Teams.
• Assists with implementation of a balanced assessment system.
• Collaborates with divisions and cross-functional teams to achieve system goals.
• Supports schools with academic systems and structures.
• Collaborates with leaders to gather and report data.
• Engages with academic teams to improve student achievement.
• Stays current on research and policy changes affecting instruction.
