Job summary

Movement Innovation Collaborative in California seeks a Regional Ecosystems Program Director to steward MIC’s eight regional ecosystems with emphasis on Inland Empire and Central Valley. You will co-design frameworks, pilot models, and accompany grassroots organizations to strengthen governance and durable regional power.

The role requires 10+ years in related fields, experience leading multi-stakeholder initiatives, and deep knowledge of movement infrastructure and collaborative governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in community organizing, powerbuilding, regional ecosystem development, or movement infrastructure.
• Experience leading complex initiatives and cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrated knowledge of collaborative governance and movement strategy.
• Strong alignment with MIC’s mission, values, and commitment to racial justice.

Responsibilities

• Develop Regional Ecosystem frameworks, assessments, tools, and coordination models in partnership with grassroots organizations and MIC teams.
• Lead synthesis of regional learning into practical tools and guidance for regional contexts.
• Oversee regional formations and provide implementation support for durable regional powerbuilding.
• Coordinate resourcing and support for regional organizations to experiment and strengthen ecosystem formation and governance.
• Lead program governance, planning, timelines, deliverables, and reporting.
