Job summary

Resource Environmental Solutions LLC (RES) seeks a General Manager to lead the West Region's operational, financial, and organizational performance from its Sacramento office.

You will oversee a diverse portfolio of ecological restoration, mitigation, conservation, and related environmental projects, guiding execution from award to completion while aligning resources, schedules, and budgets.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of progressive experience in complex, project-based delivery.
• Five or more years of P&L responsibility and team leadership, including experience leading through managers or front-line leaders.
• Portfolio-scale oversight of complex, multi-year projects involving significant schedule, cost, contractual, subcontractor, and execution risk.
• Demonstrated success building leadership capability, strengthening accountability, improving team effectiveness, and retaining talent.
• Strong financial and operating judgment, including the ability to manage revenue, gross profit, cash, EBITDA, project margins, capacity, and forecasts.
• The ability to build trust with clients, employees, regulators, tribal nations, landowners, consultants, subcontractors, and community stakeholders.
• Willingness to work from the Sacramento office and travel regularly throughout the West Region, with occasional travel to other RES locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the region's project portfolio across the full lifecycle.
• Maintain clear visibility into backlog conversion, schedules, cost, cash, capacity, and material delivery risks, and ensure timely corrective action.
• Serve as a visible safety leader by engaging employees and ensuring safe execution in office and project environments.
• Own delivery of the region's financial plan, including revenue, gross profit, cash, EBITDA, project margins, and forecast accuracy.
• Set regional priorities and make investment and resource decisions aligned with company strategy and market conditions.
• Build and retain a capable regional leadership team and workforce with succession and development plans.
• Act as executive operating sponsor for significant projects and client relationships, collaborating with sales and business development.
• Ensure projects comply with scope, contracts, schedules, permits, quality standards, regulatory commitments, and ecological obligations.
• Maintain productive relationships with regulators, tribal nations, landowners, consultants, subcontractors, and community stakeholders; deploy resources across RES.
