Job summary

ThompsonGas is seeking a DOT Recruiter to own recruiting across the company’s US regions from a Midland, TX base. The role collaborates with regional HR and field leaders to fill high-volume, DOT-regulated positions such as delivery drivers and service techs, across multiple states.

The recruiter will build local plans, source through traditional and creative channels, and track metrics from requisition to onboarding while ensuring confidentiality and strong employer branding across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years recruiting experience in an industrial industry with nationwide recruitment experience preferred.
• DOT-regulated drivers experience; ATS experience (e.g., Tenstreet, DriverHub).
• Ability to work across multiple levels of management and foster teamwork.
• Independent working style with strong problem-solving skills and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute local recruiting plans for the assigned regions.
• High volume roles recruiting (Delivery Drivers DOT regulated and Service Techs).
• Use traditional and creative sourcing strategies to build candidate pipelines.
• Collaborate with regional HR Business Partners and Field Operations hiring managers.
• Track and interpret recruiting metrics from requisition opening to onboarding.
• Coordinate background checks and drug testing with vendors.
• Maintain confidentiality of HR information at all times.
• Promote the company's employment brand externally.
