Job summary

ThompsonGas is seeking a DOT Recruiter to own recruiting across the US regions, including 25 states. The role will be based at a field location and on-site several days a week to connect with field teams while working across regions.

The DOT Recruiter will partner with HR Business Partners and Field Operations leaders to select candidates per company standards, reporting to HR Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of recruiting in industrial settings with nationwide scope.
• Experience recruiting DOT-regulated drivers and using ATS.
• Ability to work across multiple levels of management and foster teamwork.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute local recruiting plans for the assigned regions.
• High-volume hiring for Delivery Drivers and Service Techs (DOT-regulated).
• Source candidates using traditional and creative channels.
• Partner with regional HRBP and Field Operations hiring managers to align on needs.
• Track recruiting metrics from requisition to onboarding.
• Coordinate background checks and drug testing with vendors.
• Protect confidentiality of HR information and promote the company brand.
