Job summary

Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. is seeking a senior sales professional to drive revenue, manage regional accounts, and lead market strategy. You will collaborate with multiple departments to maximize profitability and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include forecasting, pricing negotiations, and managing order entry processes while growing the Del Monte portfolio within the Houston area. Strong communication and logistics knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years fresh produce sales experience across large retailers, wholesalers, food service or cash customers.
• Knowledge of logistics in the produce industry.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of key financial indicators.
• Strong prioritization and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic plans, budget, volume and revenue objectives to meet targets.
• Forecast demand and revenue to ensure objective compliance.
• Grow regional sales by nurturing existing customers and acquiring new ones.
• Handle day-to-day customer issues and provide resolutions.
• Build market intelligence to identify growth opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing and volume to achieve sales goals.
• Oversee order entry, carriers, and daily changes for customers.
• Conduct weekly market checks and quality ranking to evaluate initiatives.
