Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead a team of sales reps promoting healthcare products to general practitioners and other healthcare professionals. You will develop and execute the sales strategy, act as the market information hub, and ensure contract obligations are met for IQVIA and clients.

Pediatric/Derm experience and strong leadership are preferred. The role requires a 4-year bachelor's degree, 2+ years in pharmaceutical sales management, and 3+ years in pharmaceutical sales,

Qualifications

• 4-year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical sales management experience is highly preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience required.
• Pediatric/Derm experience is strongly recommended.
• Strong ability to communicate and work cross-functionally within a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a district towards meeting and exceeding objectives.
• Strong leadership, planning and organization, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Coach and counsel sales representatives in the field to reinforce product knowledge, core selling message and role model best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of sales representatives in promoting and selling healthcare products to general practitioners and other healthcare professionals.
• Develop and deliver the sales strategy and serve as a key information holder regarding the marketplace.
• Ensure delivery on all contractual obligations as agreed to by the client and IQVIA.
