Job summary

IQVIA in the United States is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead a team of pharmaceutical sales representatives promoting healthcare products to general practitioners and other professionals. You will develop and deliver the sales strategy and ensure contractual obligations with clients are met while guiding the district toward objectives.

The role demands 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, 2+ years in sales management, and strong cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

4-year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required.
Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical sales management experience preferred.
Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience required.
Pediatric/Derm experience is strongly recommended.
Strong ability to communicate and work cross-functionally within a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a district towards meeting and exceeding objectives.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of sales representatives promoting healthcare products to general practitioners and other healthcare professionals.
Develop and deliver the sales strategy and ensure contractual obligations with the client and IQVIA are met.
Coach and council sales reps to reinforce product knowledge and selling message.
Drive district performance toward achievement of sales objectives.
