Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a District Manager for Western New England to lead and mentor multiple business units with full P&L ownership. You will drive growth, ensure safety culture, and partner with internal teams to optimize contracts and customer relationships.

You will oversee budgets, manage Branch Managers, and develop regional strategies to maximize profitability and performance across the district, while prioritizing safety and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Environmental Science preferred.
• 7-10 years of experience; alternative combinations may be accepted.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental policies and regulations.
• Experience managing profit and loss and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies and acting safely.
• Develop and manage regional budgets and business plans; set targets for Branch Managers.
• Monitor performance with internal departments to ensure compliance and address issues.
• Monitor regional BI to identify risks and opportunities for growth.
• Prepare business reports for senior management and analyze trends.
• Manage KPI’s, safety metrics, incidents, revenue and regulatory compliance.
• Develop relationships with Branch Managers, clients and employees to meet commitments.
• Foster a high-performing, safety‑driven culture and allocate resources effectively.
• Lead manpower planning and mobilization/demobilization of resources.
• Other duties as assigned.
